THE LONG JOURNEY IS A CONCEPT ALBUM THAT I RECORDED OVER THE COURSE OF A FEW MONTHS FROM LATE 2018 TO 2019.

I SET OUT TO MAKE A SINGLE-TRACK ALBUM THAT SEAMLESSLY WEAVES THROUGH DIFFERENT MOVEMENTS AFTER I FELL IN LOVE WITH LONG SEASON BY THE JAPANESE BAND FISHMANS.

SO THAT'S WHAT I DID. I JUST LEFT A PRO TOOLS SESSION OPEN AND WHENEVER ✨INSPIRATION✨ HIT I LAID DOWN MORE TRACKS.

AS THE PROJECT WENT ON SOMETHING OF A SPACE OPERA NARRATIVE SORT OF EMERGED FOR ME. LIKE, THAT'S TOTALLY IMAGINARY BUT I HOPE THAT WHEN YOU LISTEN TO IT THAT YOUR MIND TAKES YOU ON A COOL JOURNEY SIMILAR TO MINE.
I REALLY HOPE YOU LIKE IT BECAUSE THIS LITTLE ALBUM REALLY MEANS A LOT TO ME.
